Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA) is an autosomal recessive inherited eye disorder leading to degeneration of the photoreceptor cells of the retina. The retinal degeneration results in loss of vision. This test is specific for the Shetland Sheepdog.
Clinical features
Clinical signs include night blindness and loss of peripheral vision.
