Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) is a degenerative condition. The disease causes burstings into the spinal cord between the bones of the spinal column. The disorder is caused by a FGF4 retrogene insertion on chromosome 12.
Clinical features
Clinical features include abnormal walking, hunched back or neck with tense muscles, paralysis and reduced appetite and activity level.
