In Siberian cats a special type of the tabby coat exists, which is called gold or golden. Two different mutations can be tested with a CombiBreed DNA test; Sunshine and Extreme Sunshine. Sunshine tabby cats exhibit a warm tone of tabby, a pink nose lacking the black lining and a large light cream area around the nose. Extreme-sunshine cats exhibit a blond undercoat tone, strong enlightenment of the tabby marks, light-cream belly and the same pink nose lacking the dark line that is observed in sunshine cats.
Both coat colours are now available in the CombiBreed webshop! Sunshine can be tested with test number K470, whilst Extreme Sunshine can be tested with test number K471. Both coat colours are also added to the CombiBreed package Siberian Cat with test number K873.
