Equine Cerebellar Abiotrophy (CA) is a neurological disease. The disease causes post-natal degeneration of the Purkinje cells of the cerebellum. The disease is caused by a recessive mutation located in exon 4 of the gene TOE1.
Clinical features
Clinical features include ataxia, head tremors and a lack of balance.
